Chinese laundry is a casual dinning room inspired by 80s Chinese family life and food.
Food is Northern Mainland Chinese, accompanied by an exotic cocktail list with a selection of deadly Chinese white spirits (Baijiu). We are excited to share our favourite food using seasonal and quality local produce. By bringing the street breakfast memories and family dinner menu to Upper Street, we hope this will become the very first place of experiencing the 80's Chinese family life and food in London.
The menu emphasises on the fewer known delicacy and tastiness picked up from our personal food memories of living in different parts of China when we grew up. Dishes here take time and heart, you will expect traditional Chinese pickles made on site, dishes been slow cooked from very early in the morning like how grandma does. Artisanal Chinese cooking process from the old times is inherited here, where aging, fermenting combines twice or even triple cooking can be easily found.
